Oreo Cake with cream frosting

For the cake:
250g self raising flour
250g light brown soft sugar
50g cocoa
250g dark chocolate
250g butter
4 eggs
For the frosting:
950ml whipping cream
130g granulated sugar
12 Oreo cookies (remove the filling and crush the cookies)
1)Preheat your oven to 160C/fan 140C/gas 3. 
2)Grease and line 2x20cm sandwich tins.
3)Mix the flour, sugar and cocoa together. 
Melt the chocolate and butter and 200 ml water together over a low heat, then beat this along with the eggs into the previously mentioned dry ingredients (step 3)
4)Pour into the two sandwich tins, and bake for approximately 40 mins, until well risen, and a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. 
5)Transfer to wire racks and allow to cool.
 In a mixer or by yourself, mix the whipped cream and the sugar together until it is of suitable consistency. Then add the Oreos into the mix, choose how many you want, crushing them before you put them in. Blend them all together with the Oreos so the colour changes into more of a chocolate colour. Crush some Oreos into small bits and add them into the cream. < Optional: I would suggest cooling the frosting mix in the fridge in order to make decorating the cake easier.
